We have used a lot of med kits in our time and there are some great ones on the market. But, we have always said; I wish it had this or I wish it had that. So we decided to do just that. We had input from several special operations medics in the designing of this IFAK.

3 of 5 Pre stocked kit April 28, 2020

Great quality ankle rig. I opted to pay extra for the stocked version. I planned on upgrading to the soft t wide but was bummed to find out it only ships with 1 chest seal.

5 of 5 Best Ankle Kit on the Market! December 15, 2019
Reviewer: Benb from Albany, OR United States
One thing missing from a lot of these types of kits is the stretch panel. I have tried a few other models and stopped using them because they were not very comfortable. This one is different!

The stretch panel makes a HUGE difference in comfort. I actually forget I am wearing it.

In addition to the comfort the pocket layout is very well thought out. Many kits try to go overboard with how much gear they can hold. The result is they don't conceal as well. The extra bulk also negatively affects comfort.

The pocket for the chest seal is a nice design feature.

I personally carry a SWAT tourniquet on the inside and Celox rapid dressing on the outside in addition to a Hy Vent Compact chest seal in the chest seal pocket. I still have room for a few other items I am considering.

3 of 5 Good kit, Bad smell December 13, 2019
Reviewer: A. from AZ United States
Bought this in grey, without med supplies. Put my own stuff in there, Celox Z-Fold, SOF-T Wide, and a couple Hyfin chest seals. It’s light weight and comfy over a sock, not very bulky.

Only real complaint is the terrible odor of mothballs! MAN THIS THING REALLY SMELLS BAD. It’s very strong, I can smell it across the room. Not sure how you guys were storing this before you shipped it... Hope it fades away and isn’t toxic on the skin.

5 of 5 Best Ankle Kit I have tried! November 9, 2019

I have used several ankle kits from the military to law enforcement.   The elastic and pouches really set this apart.   Well thought out and at a great price.

4 of 5 Ankle holster Recommendations February 15, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
Satisfied with build quality, and it is an improvement over the Ryker Nylon (which is very similar).  I would suggest gusseting the external pouches similar to the lynx, as it grossly deforms the inner pocket contents when packing.  It also forces the shape in to a square rather than maintaining the natural shape of the ankle.  The lack of internal storage space also dramatically reduces the usability of the outer most pouches, which is what sets this ahead of the Ryker.   Lastly, place elastic bands on all three straps, not just the center.   Between the lack of a gusseted pouch, and non elastic straps, it is difficult to fit many of the more common battle compression dressings.  If you incorporate these changes you would the best elements of the Ryker (back horizontal pocket), the lynx (gusseted pockets), and the Dark Angel (elastic securing straps).  Add in a friction band to the inside and it works be the best ankle kit availible.
